Music To Art To #6: Harmonia

With connections to a number of Krautrock giants like Neu!, Kraftwerk and Cluster, Harmonia does a great job of distilling the spirit of the whole genre into lovely instrumental tracks that speak of musical exploration and improvisation.

Many of the songs have a circuitous, rhythmic quality that lends itself to concentrated creation and active, participatory "work". A band that both David Bowie and Brian Eno revered, Harmonia is a gift.
