Tiny Vipers & Mariee Sioux

This post features two of my favorite modern folk singer/songwriters, Tiny Vipers (Washington State) & Mariee Sioux (Nevada). 

I find their songwriting and performance styles equally moving in their spareness, compelling in their economy of sound, and direct in their emotion and clarity. They sing from a rare stillness.
