Ah video game music. There are so many awesome things about this track. Between the wailing synth guitar solos and the bass patch that sounds deliciously Moog-like, this track is something magical. 

This track was composed by a man named Tim Follin in the 1990's. In the industry, Tim has somewhat legendary reputation as an exceptional composer. I mean, look at the awesome music-nerd comments I found below this track:
